This blog features highlights from our 22-day driving trip through the South. We leave our home in the Philadelphia area with our ultimate destination being New Orleans to attend their Jazz Festival 2013 on the first weekend in May, but since we had stops in other cities also with great musical heritages such as Nashville, Memphis and Austin, we decided to call the trip our "southern swing".
